未見秋堤香樹紅

雁來塞外逐西風

天水蒼茫所何是

景迷濛

暫借平湖舟一葉

線長桿短探魚蹤

待到月圓山影秀

Fishing for the serpents and dragons

Not yet seeing the fragrant trees by the autumn embankment turn red.

Geese come, chasing the western wind beyond the frontier.

The vastness of the sky and water, what does it hold? 

The scenery is hazy.

Temporarily borrowing a boat from the calm lake,

with long line and short pole, searching for fish's tracks.

Awaiting the full moon and the beautiful mountain shadows,

fishing for the serpents and dragons.
