The path to Tranquility (36)
Don't forget to utilize logical thinking

When faced with conflict, we may become emotional and confused. Emotions can cloud our consciousness and cause us to neglect the use of logical thinking. If we fall into severe anxiety and forget the power of reason, our hearts will collapse.

Logical thinking is a powerful tool for exploring the truth of things from conflict. When we understand the truth and make wise decisions, inner peace will be restored. However, if we are used to judging things in black and white, we will also be unable to think logically. This is often a key factor in generating negative emotions. For example, in some cases we may make oversimplified judgments, ignore the complexity of the matter, and fail to find reasonable solutions.

When we stop using logical thinking, consciousness will be buried and lose the ability to protect life. Doing so will not only fail to resolve the original conflict, but will also force us to face a series of psychological problems and even trigger new conflicts. In other words, giving up rational analysis will not help us get out of trouble, but will make the problem worse.

When we don’t like something, we tend to simply think it is bad or wrong, without using logical thinking to analyze whether it is actually harmful to life. If we are troubled by disgust, we will deepen the conflict between ourselves and the things we hate, and then fall into a vicious circle and lose control of our emotions. In this way, something that was originally harmless or even beneficial can become harmful, and the root of all this lies in our emotions.

To avoid the above situation, we need to attach importance to the use of logical thinking, deeply understand the background, purpose and limitations of things, and analyze their essence. When we hate criticism from others, we should understand the reasons for these criticisms, judge whether they are inappropriate, and especially understand the possible benefits of these criticisms. In fact, criticism from others can be a driving force for our progress. When we realize this, we will no longer hate criticism from others, but will be grateful for the advice that helps us grow.

When faced with something that disgusts us, we should first put aside our emotions, observe carefully and understand its details. This can help us assess the impact these things have on us. Next, we need to use logical thinking to examine whether there are contradictions and biases in our thinking process. In this way, we can avoid constant feelings of disgust and decide our distance from things based on their actual benefits. While negative emotions can drive us to act, they cannot provide precise direction. Therefore, we need to rely on logical thinking to ensure that our actions are correct.

In addition to solving psychological problems, using logical thinking can also help us stay away from danger better when facing major changes. For example, when an earthquake occurs, we can quickly assess safe evacuation routes and action plans to avoid blindly following others to escape. Or when we learn that we may have a serious illness, we can rationally analyze the possibility and severity of the illness and avoid seeking medical treatment blindly. Relying on rationality and recognizing the truth of things in a timely manner can make the situation easier to control and provide more adequate protection for our lives.

Logical thinking is an important component of rationality. Only by using it can we gain insight into the true meaning of life and deeply understand our own needs. We can summarize the essence of things from their phenomena, and similarly, we can infer their phenomena from their essence. As long as we give full play to logical thinking and reflect more, our consciousness can become complete. Therefore, we will not only be grateful for life, but also understand the meaning of its existence. We will not miss any revelation that life brings because it is a source of inspiration for problem solving and innovation.

The instincts formed in the early stages of life can no longer meet our survival needs. Although the emotional and behavioral patterns have improved in the later period, they still cannot become our reliance. Therefore, our consciousness must continue to evolve to adapt to new environments. Only by making full use of logical thinking can we get out of trouble. This means working with others to build a better new world through reasonable competition or cooperation.

Learning to use logical tools and making full use of logical thinking can keep us clear-headed and let reason and consciousness guide our lives. In this way, we will gain a peaceful spiritual home and have more time to create more new things that are beneficial to life.
