Modern people are generally highly educated and exposed to more knowledge. However, some individuals possess extensive knowledge but lack the ability to apply it, which means their wisdom does not grow in sync.
We now have easy access to all kinds of information and know many things happening in the world, which enables us to have a deeper understanding of things. However, knowledge is only the soil and water for cultivating wisdom, and sometimes it will hinder the growth of wisdom in turn.
Although exposed to more knowledge, but the mind becomes confused, which leads us to only know the appearance of things.
