寧靜的心跡(121) 用意識代替情緒


我們習慣生活在情緒之中,因為情緒讓我們感到充實,並有存在的感覺。我們把自己喜歡的情緒稱為"快樂",把不喜歡的稱為"痛苦",從而產生追求快樂的欲望。而欲望又是痛苦的來源,於是我們墮入情緒的陷阱。

情感是大自然贈予我們的禮物,但如果情緒的太過波動,生命就會被虛耗。充滿起伏和矛盾的情緒,影響了生命力的正常發揮,從而對我們的身心產生破壞。在情緒的控制下,我們甚至會作出一些後悔的決定,喪失自我控制的感覺。

無論快樂還是痛苦的情緒,我們都可以通過創造使之恢復平靜。平靜是生命力的聚集,這時感受到的是喜悅而不是一種亢奮或緊張,是最健康的狀態。

初時我們可能不適應這種感覺,因為平靜缺乏了快樂和痛苦的亢奮,失去了情緒波動的熟悉感覺,變得不那麼有趣。但是,活在無苦無樂的心態中是最自在的,也是最自然的生活方式。活在平靜中,我們的時空最深廣,可以探索無邊的宇宙和精神世界。

平靜就像一杯品質卓越的茶,讓人回味無窮。練習用意識代替情緒,注意它帶來的美好感受。不受情緒的控制,我們的注意力會集中在當下的體驗上,變得更加專注和冷靜,這有助於理解自己的感受,進一步管理情緒。

實際上,意識與情緒是相互作用的關係,當我們意識到自己的情緒,就能更好地管理它們。意識是人類最高級的工具,若能主動地使用它,我們就能更好地辨別,甚麼是真正重要的東西,哪些事情真正需要去處理,並更有效地作出合理的決定。

意識是對自己生命狀況的覺察,以及對時間和空間的掌握。當我們有足夠的意識,心境就最平靜。因此,我們不必經歷痛苦,也不需要追求快樂,只需自由地活在當下。

We are accustomed to living with the emotions because emotions make us feel fulfilled and have a sense of existence. We describe the emotions we like "happy" and the ones we dislike "painful", thus creating the desire to pursue pleasures. And desire is the source of suffering, so we fall into the trap of emotion.

Emotions are gifts bestowed upon us by nature, but if emotions fluctuate too much, life can be consumed. Emotions filled with ups and downs and contradictions affect the normal function of vitality and thus adversely affect our physical and mental health. Under the control of emotions, we may even make some regrettable decisions, losing the feeling of self-control.

Whether happy or painful emotions, we can bring it back to calm through creation. Calmness is the gathering of vitality, and at this time, we feel joy instead of excitement or tension, which is the healthiest state.

Initially, we may not adapt to this feeling because calmness lacks the excitement of pleasure or suffering and loses the familiar feeling of emotional fluctuations, becoming less interesting. However, living in a state of mind without joy or suffering is the most comfortable and natural way of life. Living in peace, our time and space are the deepest and widest, and we can explore the boundless universe and spiritual world.

Calm is like a cup of tea of ​​excellent quality, which is endlessly memorable. Practicing replacing emotions with consciousness, paying attention to the beautiful feelings it brings. Not being controlled by emotions, our attention will focus on the experience of the moment, becoming more focused and calm, which helps to understand our feelings and further manage emotions.

In fact, consciousness and emotions are interactive, and when we are aware of our emotions, we can better manage them. Consciousness is the most advanced tool of human beings, and if we can actively use it, we can better distinguish what is really important, which things really need to be dealt with, and make more reasonable decisions more effectively.

Consciousness is the awareness of one's own life situation and the mastery of time and space. When we have enough consciousness, the state of mind is the most peaceful. Therefore, we don’t have to experience pain or pursue happiness, we just have to be free to live in the present moment.
