我們追求的平靜,不是身體的靜止,也不是心如止水,而是心靈上的穩定。有時候,我們坐著閱讀,表面上看似安靜,但內心卻波濤洶湧,這並非真正的平靜。真正的平靜是一種深度投入生活的狀態。當我們將精力集中於有益生命的事物上,而非虛耗在無謂的動盪中,才能獲得這種平靜。

實際上,解決內心動盪最有效的方法是面對並理解我們的情緒。這需要時間和耐心。在焦躁不安的時刻,我們可以找一些瑣碎的事情來保持忙碌,例如吸煙或做一些日常家務,以分散注意力並舒緩情緒。然而,這種做法只是讓我們表面上平靜,內心卻可能產生新的動盪,例如感到自己無能或無價值。這些新的動盪將會與先前的情緒交織在一起,形成更大的情緒爆發。壓抑情緒會阻礙生命力的正常流動,因此這種做法也會導致抑鬱。

相反,如果用那股焦慮的能量去從事需要大量創造力的活動,例如彈鋼琴、寫程式、文字創作或哲學思考,我們內心的動盪就會逐漸減少。當思緒從焦慮中解脫出來,就像身邊響起一個旋律,邀請我們跳一支獨特的舞蹈。如果我們全情投入到這支舞蹈中,就能重新體驗平靜與和諧。這種方法不僅有助於緩解壓力,還能激發創新思維,讓我們創造出更多獨特且有價值的作品。

旋律代表著一種秩序。因此,內心的旋律就是生命對我們的召喚:創造我們自己的秩序。當我們感到生活失去方向,內心就會動盪,負面情緒也會增加。這是生命傳遞給我們的信號,提醒我們必須恢復秩序,維持健康的生活。當我們明白這一點,情緒就更容易平復。伴隨著這個旋律起舞,我們能深深感受到生命的價值和意義。我們可以全神貫注地創造自己的舞步,讓理性上的冷靜與感性上的動盪形成鮮明的對比,進而領悟平靜的本質。

我們都希望實現平靜。這需要我們了解生命的需要和自的渴望,並有勇氣去追求或放下。因此,我們也需要培養愛心,對自己和世界充滿關懷和理解。唯有如此,我們才能擁有寧靜的靈魂,在平靜的心境中充份發揮生命力,並享受創造新事物帶來的喜悅。

Acting for the true purpose of life


The calmness we pursue is not about remaining still or having a mind as still water, but spiritual stability. Sometimes, when we sit and read, we seem to be calm on the surface, but our hearts are in turmoil. This is not true calmness. True calmness is a state of deep involvement in life. We can only achieve this kind of calmness by focusing our energy on things that are beneficial to life, rather than wasting it in meaningless turmoil.

In fact, the most effective way to resolve inner turmoil is to face and understand our emotions. This takes time and patience. In moments of anxiety, we can find trivial things to keep busy, such as smoking or doing some daily housework, to distract and soothe our emotions. However, this practice only makes us calm on the surface, but may generate new turmoil in our hearts, such as feeling incompetent or worthless. These new turmoil will be intertwined with previous emotions to form a larger emotional outburst. Suppressing emotions hinders the normal flow of vitality, so this practice can also lead to depression.

On the contrary, if we use that anxious energy to engage in activities that require a lot of creativity, such as playing the piano, writing programs, writing texts, or philosophical thinking, our inner turmoil will gradually decrease. When the mind is freed from anxiety, it is like a melody ringing around us, inviting us to dance a unique dance. If we devote ourselves to this dance, we can experience peace and harmony again. This method not only helps relieve stress, but also stimulates innovative thinking, allowing us to create more unique and valuable works.

Melody represents a kind of order. Therefore, the inner melody is life's call to us: create our own order. When we feel that our life has lost its direction, our hearts will be turbulent and negative emotions will increase. This is a signal from life to remind us that we must restore order and maintain a healthy life. When we understand this, it is easier to calm down. Dancing with this melody, we can deeply feel the value and meaning of life. We can create our own dance steps with full concentration, allowing the rational calmness and the emotional turmoil to form a sharp contrast, and then understand the essence of calmness.

We all want to achieve calmness. This requires us to understand the needs of life and our own desires, and have the courage to pursue or let go. Therefore, we also need to cultivate love and be full of care and understanding for ourselves and the world. Only in this way can we have a tranquil soul, fully exert our vitality in a calm state of mind, and enjoy the joy of creating new things.

Tranquility is the root of freedom. In tranquility, we act solely for the true purpose of life, thus remaining unbound. Tranquility is like a deep spring, calm yet brimming with life's vitality. It is a state of life filled with wisdom.
