寧靜的心跡 (16) 煩惱皆因夢半醒


煩惱是生活中常見的情緒。除了生活、工作、人際關係等外在因素,很多時候它是由我們內心的矛盾所造成。我們對過去與未來的認知不夠清晰,有一些隱藏已久的感受和想法難以澄清。這就像處於半夢半醒的狀態,我們意識模糊,看到的一切都不真實,而且總是伴隨著一種莫名的焦慮。

動物比我們簡單得多。動物憑本能而活,不會譴責自己,也不區分好壞,無需思考是非。因此,牠們自然而然地存在著,處於一個無意識的夢境中,並且永遠不會醒來。

我們人類既有豐富想像力,但又意識不足,本能的行為可能會受內心的禁止,身體也可能難以應付內心想做的事情。我們經常以極端的方式去看世界,執著於種種自我限制,無法實現自己的價值。

更糟糕的是,我們通常只用情緒來構建一個自我,並把這個自我當成自己,為這個虛假的自己而生活。這相當於給自己創造了一個夢,而這個夢卻不能與現實分開,導致我們處於半夢半醒的狀態中。

煩惱就產生在這種半夢半醒的狀態中。我們無法辨別哪些是夢境,哪些是現實,因而無法找到真正有利於自己生命的目標,也無法盡情享受當下的美好。在這個狀態中,我們很可能作出一些將來會後悔的決定,因為夢境與現實存在著巨大的差異和衝突。

當煩惱降臨,最好的解決方法是分析自己的想法,與內心進行對話。有時候,我們對某些事物的態度或期望不夠清晰,可以嘗試從不同的角度重新思考問題,或重新審視自己的價值觀及目標。

坐下來深呼吸,專注於觀察自己的情緒,並讓自己在生與死之間作出選擇,或許我們就能完全從夢中醒來,看到解決問題的方法。人生最大的煩惱是面臨抉擇,被迫從兩個互相衝突的選項挑選一個,這會讓我們感到很無助,並從夢驚醒。當我們以生死作標準去衡量,問題就會迎刃而解了。

每個人的夢想和追求都不同,但那些讓人滿足的美好感受,只能來自真正有意識的行動。因此,如果我們能夠拋棄自我,拓展意識,為真正的自己而活,處處以生命的利益著想,就可以減少煩惱。當我們放棄追求夢想,不再強迫自己去做選擇,就能徹底擺脫煩惱,獲得真正的自由。

The path to Tranquility (16) Annoyance is caused by half-awake dream


Annoyance is a common emotion in life. Besides external factors such as living, working, and relationships, it is often caused by our internal conflicts. Our understanding of the past and the future is not clear enough, and there are long-hidden feelings and thoughts that are difficult to clarify. It's like being in a state of half-dream, our consciousness is blurred, everything we see is unreal, and it's always accompanied by an inexplicable anxiety.

Animals are much simpler than us. Animals live by instinct and do not condemn themselves, nor do they distinguish between good and bad things, and do not need to think about right or wrong. Therefore, they exist naturally, in an unconscious dream state, and never wake up.

We, human beings, have rich imaginations but insufficient consciousness, and instinctive behavior may be prohibited by the inner self, and the body may have difficulty coping with what the inner self wants to do. We often view the world in extreme ways, clinging to various self-restrictions, and unable to realize our own value.

What’s worse is that we usually construct an ego out of emotions only, treat this ego as ourselves, and live for this false self. This is equivalent to creating a dream for ourselves, but this dream cannot be separated from reality, causing us to be in a state of half-dream.

Annoyances arise in this half-dream state. We cannot distinguish which ones are dreams and which ones are reality, so we cannot find goals that are truly beneficial to our lives, nor can we fully enjoy the beauty of the moment. In this state, we are likely to make some decisions that we will regret in the future, because there are huge differences and conflicts between dreams and reality.

When Annoyances come, the best solution is to analyze our own thoughts and have a dialogue with your heart. Sometimes, our attitudes or expectations towards certain things are not clear enough, so we can try to rethink the problem from a different perspective or re-examine our values and goals.

Sit down and take a deep breath, focus on observing our emotions, and let ourselves make choices between life and death, maybe we can completely wake up from the dream and see ways to solve the problem. The biggest annoyance in life is facing a choice, and being forced to choose one from two conflicting options, which can make us feel helpless and wake us up from our dreams. When we measure the problem by life and death standards, the problem will be solved easily.

Everyone’s dreams and pursuits are different, but those satisfying and beautiful feelings can only come from truly conscious actions. Therefore, if we can abandon the ego and expand our consciousness, live for our true selves, and consider everything from the perspective of interests of life, we can reduce annoyances. When we give up pursuing dreams and no longer force ourselves to make choices, we can completely get rid of annoyances and gain true freedom.
