寧靜的心跡(84) 為自己的生命負責


當初來到這個世界,我們一片空白。寄託於生命並在其中成長,我們無法離開生命,這使生命變成我們最重要的東西。因此,我們應該學會為自己的生命負責,這不僅意味著對自己的身體和心靈負責,也意味著對周遭的人和事負責,也就是對所有關乎自己生命的事情負責。負起自己的責任,我們會感到更安全,因此也會更自信。負責意味著我們勇敢並謹慎地做決定,無論是簡單的日常選擇,還是關於生活方向的重大決定。

小時候,我們習慣讓父母為我們做決定。這種習慣可能會導致我們成年後猶疑不決。我們甚至將這種習慣深化為一種拖延習慣,實際上是逃避為自己的事情做決定。逃避決定的方式有多種,例如算命、歸咎於父母或前世、聽從親友的意見,或遵循社會習俗。這種逃避,使我們的行動不是出於自己內心的真正需要,而是為了迎合外界。

為了擺脫這種習慣性逃避,我們必須了解為自己生命做決定的重要性。每個人的身心都是獨特的,只有我們最了解自己的感受和需要。而將決定權交給別人,很有可能對我們不利。因此,即使有犯錯的可能,自己做決定才是最合理的。可以將這個原則延伸,即使在有必要時可以提供協助,我們也應該盡量讓別人為自己做決定,給予別人更多自由。

將事情的決定權交給別人,也表示我們企圖逃避責任。但自己的責任終究是逃避不了的。如果交由別人代為決定而行動出錯,我們的內心除了責備自己出錯,還會責備自己所託非人。因為讓別人代我們做決定,也是我們的一個決定,而在這個決定上出錯,更容易讓我們感到後悔。我們的內心會強烈地感到自己不應該在這點上犯錯。

因此,無論是為了給自己更好的感受,還是滿足自己的需要讓自己成長,我們都應該充份發揮意識的作用,直接為自己的行動做決定。有時行動的後果看起來難以承受,尤其是那些人生大事,例如事業和婚姻。但做好承受的準備,是智慧和勇氣的體現,可以讓我們變得更強大。而且,後果越嚴重、責任越重大,就越不應交由別人替我們做決定。這是因為,我們的生命是自己的,而不是別人的。即使將決定權交給別人不會發生任何錯誤,我們也錯失一個成長的機會。我們必須主動地決定自己如何行動,才能提升自己的意識。而透過承擔自己做決定的後果,才能更好地改善做決定的方式和方法。

當面對困難的選擇或決定,我們需要更專注於內心的需要,不受表面利益的影響。例如尋找伴侶,如果發現自己正從兩個選項中挑選,而且猶疑不決,我們應該及時覺察自己並不真正喜歡這些選項,而勉強的選擇會為以後的生活埋下不利的因素,必須決定放棄。在選擇中,只要保持理性思考,我們就能將自己追求的目標與生命的目標保持一致,堅定地下決心,勇敢地行動,然後承擔後果。這樣,我們不僅能夠提高生活的品質和幸福感,還能獲得更多發現真理的機會。值得強調的是,當遇到無法獨自跨越的障礙,例如身體的疾病或疼痛,我們應該主動尋求別人的協助,尤其是醫生等專業人士。

生命是一次珍貴的旅程。為自己的生命負責,為有關自己的事情做決定,我們可以塑造出一個充滿喜悅和成就的自己,也為創造美好世界做出貢獻。當我們為自己的生命負責,就會決定照顧好自己的身體,包括保持健康的飲食、適量的運動,以及規律的作息,也會決定放下執著和幻想,減輕壓力和焦慮,維持一個健康的心理。這表示我們時刻為生命著想,擺脫慣性或情緒化行為,遠離危害生命的事物。在這個為自己生命負責的過程中,我們的身體與心靈得以充份地運用,而能保持靈活,因此也是長壽的關鍵。

從無意識成長為有意識,我們已擁有為自己的生命負責的能力。因此,我們應該發揮意識的力量,讓自己的生命更安全和豐富。實際上,生命需要所有人一起去維護。為自己的生命負責,也意味著創造更好的環境,讓自己及別人更好地生存和成長。生命的最高價值是連結。所以,我們的最終目標,是透過為自己的生命負責,去建立美好的人際關係,共同守護生命,並實現生命的全部價值和意義。

Taking responsibility for our life


When we come to this world, we are completely blank. Entrusted in life and growing in it, we cannot leave life, which makes life the most important thing to us. Therefore, we should learn to be responsible for our own lives, which not only means being responsible for our body and mind, but also for the people and things around us, that is, being responsible for everything related to our life. By taking responsibility for ourselves, we feel safer and therefore more confident. Being responsible means that we make decisions bravely and carefully, whether they are simple daily choices or major decisions about the direction of our lives.

As children, we are used to letting our parents make decisions for us. This habit can lead to indecision as adults. We even deepen this habit into a procrastination habit, actually avoiding making decisions about our own affairs. There are many ways to evade decisions, such as fortune-telling, blaming parents or past lives, following to the opinions of relatives and friends, or following social customs. This kind of evasion makes our actions not out of our own inner true needs, but to cater to the outside world.

To get rid of this habitual evasion, we must understand the importance of making decisions for our own life. Everyone's body and mind are unique, and only we know our own feelings and needs best. And giving the decision-making power to others is likely to be detrimental to us. Therefore, even if there is a possibility of making mistakes, it is most reasonable to make decisions by ourselves. This principle can be extended. Even if we can provide assistance when necessary, we should try to let others make decisions for themselves and give others more freedom.

Leaving the decision-making power to others also indicates that we are trying to evade responsibility. But we cannot evade our responsibilities after all. If we entrust others to make decisions for us and make mistakes, our hearts will blame ourselves for making mistakes, and will also blame ourselves for entrusting others. Because entrusting others make decisions for us is also one of our decisions, and making mistakes on this decision is more likely to make us regret. Our hearts will strongly feel that we should not make mistakes on this point.

Therefore, whether it is to give ourselves a better feeling, or to meet our own needs and grow ourselves, we should give full play to the role of consciousness and directly make decisions for our actions. Sometimes the consequences of actions seem unbearable, especially those major events in life, such as career and marriage. But being prepared to bear it is a manifestation of wisdom and courage, which can make us stronger. Moreover, the more serious the consequences and the greater the responsibility, the less we should let others to make decision for us. This is because our life is our own, not others'. Even if nothing goes wrong by leaving the decision to someone else, we miss an opportunity to grow. We must actively decide how to act in order to improve our consciousness. By bearing the consequences of our own decisions, we can better improve the way and method of making decisions.

When facing difficult choices or decisions, we need to focus more on the needs of our hearts and not be affected by surface benefits. For example, when looking for a partner, if we find that we are choosing from two options and are hesitant, we should realize in time that we do not really like these options, and reluctant choice will bury unfavorable factors for our future life, we must decide to give up. In the choices, as long as we maintain rational thinking, we can keep our pursuit goals consistent with the goals of life, make a firm determinations, act bravely, and then bear the consequences. In this way, we can not only improve the quality of life and happiness, but also have more opportunities to discover the truth. It is worth emphasizing that when encountering obstacles that cannot be overcome alone, such as physical diseases or pains, we should actively seek the assistance of others, especially professionals such as doctors.

By taking responsibility for our own life, and making decisions for our own affairs, we can shape a self full of joy and achievement, and contribute to the creation of a beautiful world. When we take responsibility for our own life, we will decide to take care of our own body, including maintaining a healthy diet, appropriate exercise, and regular work and rest, and will also put down attachments and illusions, reduce stress and anxiety, and maintain a healthy psychology. This means that we always think about life, get rid of habitual or emotional behaviors, and stay away from things that harm life.
